Mermaid in training...or simply pretty by the seashore...

Anna's first adventures in Muskoka's lakes....

Here I go....

Ah...but getting out of the water is even better when Papa holds me close:

Hmmm...perhaps it is better to just jump in fully dressed ;0)

Better yet, I'll just throw this wet stuff around...and get really dirty...more fun!

Petro gals of Canada!!

This was a very special family vacation as it was our first with Annabelle. She got to meet her cousins from England... spend time with her grandparents....and meet a very special little lady... Darya, also from Petro! It was so great to finally meet Kim (Darya's mom) and her family after corresponding via internet for such a long time. What a great afternoon, trading stories and just enjoying good company. Here are the Petro gals of Canada!!!

And...here is a picture of our Petro family reunion;

And finally... I love you too, big brother...Don't say another word ;-)

Cousins' zoo adventures

Cousins' animals aventures at the zoo can sometimes be scary for little ones... Annabelle enjoyed seeying animals with Adeline... but this scary monkey was a little too intimidating... Thankfully, the other monkeys were alot cuter!

Wake up, Pepere..it's your party!!!

The whole family celebrated my dad's 80th birthday party... Unfortunately, the guest of honor had other plans... The kids anxiously waited for Pepere to wake up so that they could get some of that yummy cake. I love Annabelle's exressions... you know that she can't wait to get the party started.... as for Yannik... a toothless grin says it all ;0)

Our little monkey

Picture speaks for itself ;0))

Daddy's Girl

Gentle moments....I love how Annabelle has her hand on Sven's leg....such a sweet gesture from a little girl who used to be afraid of men. She has really turned into a Daddy's girl... and mom couldn't be happier!

"Nana" celebrates her first Canada Day!!!

We've decoded another word: Nana - translation: Anna!!! I just thought she kept pointing at her chest and saying no ;0)) What ignorant parents you have, Anna! Yes, Nana...you are a proud Canadian now.. waving the flag, but more importantly, ....hmmm..what are those lovely chocolate muffins I see? I must partake in these crazy Canuk activities!!!
