At 6:30 pm, Annabelle entered the apartment with us and entered our daily lives. Jocelyne is right now consoling her to sleep, hence I (Sven) took on the blogging duties. The adjustment is real for all of us. For Annabelle because she has just entered the Oborn household but I think over all she's doing quite well in spite of her new surroundings. This will also be a huge adjustment for Yannik because (as he is finding out) he no longer has as much access to our undivided attention. He has to share us with Annabelle. Jocelyne and I have to keep constant watch over her because she likes to put things in her mouth. But overall, it has been an evening of great joy for all of us. Welcome to our family Annabelle!

Congratulations on the new addition into your household. This is such a special day and magical occasion. We are absolutely delighted for all of you. Hopefully the remainder of your paperwork will proceed without further complications (it won't, obviously, but it is an adoption in Kazakhstan) and you will be back in NB, soon. At least now you will have something "new" to do around Petro. Congratulations once again.
